Hello! The AM Cookie Bar is so happy we get to share our story with you! We are a family owned and operated business right out of our home in Michigan! The chef and mastermind behind the delicious flavors you love is my mother. Growing up, she ironically did not know how to cook or bake as well as she would like. This caused her to take a culinary course as part of her college curriculum. This opened the door to a whole new love for her! She quickly discovered her passion for cooking and baking and started working in the food industry. Her carefully crafted flavors and hard work ethic quickly caught the attention of many well-established restaurants and chefs. But as we all know, life has many unexpected surprises, and she was unable to continue in these pursuits. However, with unwavering persistence she has lovingly cared for her family and friends for years, all while dealing with challenging health issues herself. Throughout that time though, she never lost her love of baking. Her eyes light up when she sees people enjoying her cookies and she can quite often be found doing a happy dance when rolling a sprinkle cookie for someone.

 

  During the 2022 year, my father was let go from his job which he had for over 21 years. It left our family dealing with extremely hard times. Wanting to help, my mom started baking at home to assist in supporting us. She had always wanted to open a shop in the past, but the timing was never right, so why not try it from home? And it was a hit!

  Currently, it is just my mother, father, and I who work in the business. So, everything you see, whether it is our cookies, website, logo or even our slogan has personally been attended to with loving care by a member of our family. We want you to feel that care and love in every fresh homemade bite that you take of our products. After experiencing the flavor of our cookies, not to mention the generous sizing and texture, many walk away echoing the words of one of our customers who is in her 80's that said, "Out of all my years of life, that is the best cookie I have ever had."
